I have an iPhone 4, now I have to buy a new phone to run this app. I cant use the old flipkey app anymore so this is no good to me as a rental home owner
Cannot click on reply to potential renter or adjust the rental cost. Need to update this.

Its an ok app. It lets me do what I need to while managing my listing. So it works. However: its clunky and awkward. The menu drop down just feels a little funny. Not the best UI but usable. Biggest issue: WHY DOES IT FULLY REFRESH WHEN ANYTHING HAPPENS ON MY PHONE?? Ive had to rewrite a response several times only to finally give up and write in Notes app so that when a text comes in or I flip to another app to refer to dates the whole damn thing doesnt reload and blow away everything I was writing. So frustrating. Im assuming its live polling the website in the most literal sense, I am not typing in the app, I am typing on the website via the app and nothing is stored locally like a regular well behaved app. Fix this for the love of God, please and Ill give ya a couple more stars. Thanks.
Its not a bad app...but its missing some important features, like the ability to add, delete & edit captions on photos.

I host with this app and have had no problems. Makes access to info super easy regardless of you location.
This app drives me crazy as it refreshes itself if you get distracted and erases any information about your rental you may have added to help provide info to potential guests. So I guess its fine as long as you dont have any specific questions to answer or ever get a phone call in the middle of responding.
Very unstayable! In the owners mode there are many uncomfortable things. Like if im writing very long answer for request and leave the application to answer in another one, my message or any changes I made will dissapear! I dont like to use products making me so nervous to write critic in the appstore! Its very rare. But I want to use your app, because I can not have access to my laptop 24/7, but want to answer as soon as possible. But as long as use this app I prefer the desktop version. But now I have no choise, because you guys blocked my desktop acsess, because I dont know why, I can not recieve SMS to confirm my number. Im here, in Portugal. And I dont whant to call you for any question (but I had problem with sms code on saturday so I should wait the end of the weekend when you can answer me). All this things - no acsess from the desktop and uncomfortable mobile app make me prefer another services to share my rooms for travelers. Thank you.
Could improve, however it is a very good app.
I cannot use it now because it switched to safari every time I open the app. And how can I setting many types of room and many types of bed and prices one by one room.?

I have properties listed on other sites including Airbnb. It amazes me that tripadvisor gets any business at all in the competitive vacation rental market. When an owner responds to a potential guests inquiry.....the app & desktop platform look for any sign that the owner has included a phone number, email or website address (thinking they are trying to book outside of tripadvisor). I responded to a guest on a request that I wanted to approve so I sent their standard "send a quote" reply. I didnt add anything to the canned reply and I got an automatic response that said my inquiry was being blocked because I was trying to circumvent the system. I clicked send again and thought it went thru. Checked an hour later and my "send a quote" response provided by trip advisor was completely blocked so my guest did not get my response. Also, if you as an owner simply reply to a tripadvisor email & forget you have a auto fill signature....your email gets blocked & they warn you that if it happens repeatedly...youll be banned from their site & your listing will be pulled. How does Airbnb handle situations like this? They just hide the sensitive info and let the message go thru. Paranoia apparently is a company trait at TripAdvisor.... They really should realize that blocking owners messages is costing their company & vacation rental owners a lot of money. I guess thats why Airbnb is getting the bulk of the business. As a vacation rental owner, Ill continue to list on tripadvisor (unless they ban me) because I will likely get a few bookings here and there. Airbnb is still going to deliver me many more bookings!
